Located in the beautiful
Avon Valley - Northam

Rural tranquility with stunning views
Just a 10 minute drive from the town and airfield

Bona Vista from the balloon

Bona Vista is a delightful two bedroom period farmhouse cottage with magnificent views from its wide verandahs, across the colourful patchwork of the valley farmlands. Built from sturdy jarrah timbers and huge handmade local mud bricks, it has been tastefully renovated, including the restoration of polished jarrah floors.

Bona Vista farm is a working farm, located 8 kms east of Northam; producing sheep, lambs, grain and wool.

A private self-contained tranquil retreat

We offer exclusive use of the cottage accommodation for you and your family or friends.
It is separate to the main house, which is situated on another corner of the farm.

The cottage is fully self-contained, with all bed linen, pillows, and towels provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with gas top cooker, electric oven, fridge, microwave oven, crockery, saucepans, cooking utensils, etc

You need only bring your food and drinks, or if you prefer time off from cooking, we can give you details about our local tavern which provides a fine meal, or there is a selection of restaurants in Northam.

The comfortable lounge room is warmed by a cheery wood-burning stove, and there is a TV, DVD and music player provided for your use.

Awaken to the chorus of the birds

There are two spacious bedrooms; one with a queen-size bed and the other with a double-size bed.

(Additional sleeping can be provided for the kids, by prior arrangement, with 2 single beds in a sleep-out room off the lounge room. A small extra fee will apply).

Toilet facilities are provided by a character outdoor 'dunny' (a flush septic-sytem, about 10 paces from the back door) with indoor bathroom.
