April 11, 2008 : Congratulations to Ralph and Marga Hannemann for the sucessful completion of their RTW in their Partenavia D-GHAN.
They landed at Hassfurt, EDQT, yesterday at 12.58 Z. They flew 340:32 hours, had 92 landings and flew 83 259 km ( actually twice around the world) = 44 956 NM while visiting 29 countries on all continents.
They were glad to be reunited with their twin-daughters Angela and Nathalie.

April 7, 2008 : Congratulations to Jared Isaacman and his team for their succesfull RTW in 84 hours.
They did not break the record they were after but are claiming 17 speed records.

September 18, 2007: Congratulations to Uwe Thomas Carstensen for the successful completion of the second part of his RTW in "the rose-painted" aeroplane, "Marie", Cessna 206 D-EMCA, with Hans Christian Albertsen as co-pilot for the second half of the RTW. They landed at Hannover Airport on September 14.

May 8, 2007: Congratulations to Arnim Stief and Markus Henkell who completed their Round the World Flight with their Cirrus SR 22 N241PK on Thursday 3, 2007. They arrived at 07:03 pm at Egelsbach airport (now called Frankfurt-Egelsbach) in Germany and were welcomed by a big crowd of friends and the press. They totally flew 208 hours on their trip and got over a distance of about 52000 km. The plane always performed well over the whole trip.

April 11, 2006: Congratulations to Manuel Queiroz who arrived back at Gloucester at 1406 on Saturday 8th April - his flight took 39 days and 8 hours. He didn't break the world speed record, but he has set the British record for this class of aircraft, and has a number of 'point to point' world records, which have yet to be verified.

November 5, 2005: The Indian Air Force is planning a circumnavigation of the world in a Super Dimona motor glider starting April 2006.

October 30, 2005: Barrington Irving is announcing his departure on May 4, 2006 for his RTW in a Columbia 400. He hope to become the first African-American to fly solo around the world and the youngest of any race. He is looking forward at meeting other Earthrounders along his route.
