Note: Dr. Winthrop G. Dale passed away on October 23, 2012 in Afton, Wyoming. Information given by Mike McDonald by email on November 15, 2012:
My name is Mike McDonald. I attended the Florida meeting in my CT N89WD with my best buddy Dr. Wynthrop G. Dale. I wanted to let the group know the Dr. Dale passed away on October 23rd here in Afton, Wyoming. Dr. Dale was 87. He became an earthrounder in 1972(I believe) with the trip being from west to east in his C-310. I loved Wyn like a father, he will be missed. Wyn had no offspring, just me, his sergeant son. Please let it be known through out the ER family if you would please. Also please ad me to the ER communications since I intend to fly the new Flight Design C4 around the world as soon as it is fully certified. Thank You.
Please let me know you have received my message,
Happy trails,
Mike McDonald
