Sunday 10 January 2010, as several commercial flights were cancelled at Frankfurt International Airport due to heavy snowfall, Reiner Meutsch and Arnim Stief were lucky to make the start of the Fly and Help World Trip as planned, from Siegerland in Germany.. They are currently now in Marrakesh Morocco.

Steve is creating 2 Internet Sites: which is a support website where individuals and companies can donate towards the flight and get their names on Spirit of Endeavour as it flies around the world. The aircraft is being named Spirit of Endeavour as a tribute to Capt James Cook, a fellow Yorkshireman and the world's greatest navigator. It's also a tribute to the astronauts of the space shuttle Endeavour. this will be the main RTW flight website.

Karl-Heinz Zahorsky, in their Malibu N662TC writes from Easter Island: They had been delivered 2 drums of Jet Fuel (kerosene) instead of Avgas. Luckily the tower spotted black smoke coming from their exhaust. They managed to return safely to the airport.

They landed at Hassfurt, EDQT, yesterday at 12.58 Z. They flew 340:32 hours, had 92 landings and flew 83 259 km ( actually twice around the world) = 44 956 NM while visiting 29 countries on all continents.
They were glad to be reunited with their twin-daughters Angela and Nathalie.

They arrived at 07:03 pm at Egelsbach airport (now called Frankfurt-Egelsbach) in Germany and were welcomed by a big crowd of friends and the press. They totally flew 208 hours on their trip and got over a distance of about 52000 km. The plane always performed well over the whole trip.
