Earthrounders

Earthrounders is an international gruop of pilots with an extraordinary achievement in common. They have all flown around the globe in a light aircraft. Since 1903 only a handful of pilots have accomplished this challenging voyage in a light aircraft - a form of flying enterely different from executive jets or airlines.

Erathrounders officially recognizes 270 flights, the majority having been made in single engine airplanes. This amazing feat has also been achueved in home-builtaircratf, helicopters, ultralighta and balloons.

The foundesr of Earthrounders - Australian, Claude Meunier and Austrian, Han\s Gutmann - thought a gathering of circumnavigation piolts would be exciting. The first of such meeting took place at the 2000 EAA Airventure in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Rreunions are held every two years, always in a different country, to highlight the international flavor of the earthrounders community. Gathreings have been hosted in Vienna, Austria; Perth, Australia; Mexico City, Mexico; and Capetown, South Africa.

Navigate the Earthrounders Website to learn more about these daring adventurers.
