General remarks about your flight:
8 Years in the making and an adventure of a lifetime! Documented most of the trip on @FlyingTexas. Nealy a decade ago, I first mentioned this dream to friends and family. My Dad always believed in me and that I could do it - thank you for that unwavering support. I also want to sincerely thank the Earthrounders; your guidance was essential in getting me ready for this trip. Special thanks to Mike Miller!
Advice to other pilots:
#1. Doing it alone is fun, but I am very happy to have shared the experience with several co-pilots. We will have these memories for the rest of our lives. #2. Network. Noah Matisoff (Intercept Aviation), whom I met in preparing for this trip, saved me on multiple occasions. #3. Start planning for the Pacific crossing early!
