General remarks about your flight:
Using local handlers (or no handler) and obtaining clearances by ourselves saved us tens of thousands. Much advance preparation needed. Knowledge of foreign languages proved invaluable.


Advice to other pilots:
If you have the range to go westbound, do so as going eastbound makes you lose time zones and arrive too late for sightseeing or dinner on most long legs.
